So, last night I went with Lexi & Kristin to the White Rabbit for this little "Friday the 13th" show with like a bazillion local bands playing.



My favorites were Loss of Innocence (right now I'm sporting a new LOI shirt got a new CD by them), In the Wake Of..., and from what I saw, the Boy Scout Cookies were really good, too.

I think half of the Reagan population was there, though.
Well, maybe not quite that many, but there were a lot of people.

I got violated by a 50 year old drunken man.

I also kept getting pushed by the hXc moshers again.
They stepped on my ankle. I don't know how they did it, but they did.
It hurt.
So did my elbow.

But all in all, it was totally fun.
I met new people.
Yay!

Mosh pits look cool in strobe lights.

I saw the second and third most gorgeous guys in the world yesterday.
Number one is William Beckett.
Number two is a guy who looks like William Beckett that I saw, except he had a lip ring.
Number three is this one other guy that I had no idea who he was, except that he was rather good looking. And he had braces. +3943894738 points for him.

I like bassists.


This morning I woke up with a small bug bite on my leg.
By time school ended, it looked like a mosquito bite.
By the end of the concert, it had swelled up like a balloon.
I don't think it's just a mosquito bite anymore.
It itches like whoa.

I get to help with a church garage sale tomorrow. Yaaay.


I'm going to the Academy Is... concert for sure now.  Tickets are no longer a problem.
I'm happy.

I think I'm going to die if I don't get something to drink soon.

Why do girls where short short thong-bearing skirts, flip flops, and too-small shirts to concerts?

Smoking is gross and pointless.
It won't make you look cool.
It makes you look like a disgusting asswad.
Not to mention smelly.
Ew.

So later today I'm going to the mall with Cara. 

I'm excited.

Except for that one song, A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More Touch Me (which I actually love) that's been stuck in my head for the past almost two weeks.

Okay, yeah, so I don't have photoshop or any of that jazzy expensive stuff.  Long live paint.

But can you believe it?  Two days in a row I'm updating?

It's got to be a miracle or something.

We had our dissections practical today.  It was a lot easier than I expected.

But you know, I really wouldn't count this as un update.

I might go see this one band Letters to No One at the White Rabbit tomorrow with Kelsey.  The guys in the band are from our school, which would be pretty neat. I know a bunch of people are going to be there.

But I don't REALLY want to go... so I might just end up going to the mall with Cara instead. I haven't been since last year.

Smoking is gross. 

It won't make you fit in.

Losers.

And I can't stand it when people have icons of people cutting.

That's gross.

Keep it to yourself, attention whores.

My palm itches, and it won't go away.

That's me.  My friend has madd camera phone skillz.

So, the past two days have been alright.

Yesterday we finished our frog & pig dissections. 

If we could get the pig's brain out without damaging it, we got 5 points extra on our packet.  So my friend Andrew who was working on the brain was cutting underneath to try and get it out, and said "Oh, I think I got it!" and pulled up with the scalpel, completely shredding the brain and breaking the blade.  Naughty naughty.

Well, now that dissections are over, the hallway and the classroom will go back to smelling nice again.

My mom told me yesterday that I could have spent this whole summer in California, but then I told her that I had my mission trips and everyone to go on that have already been paid for, so I can't go.  That would have been SO much fun... just spending the whole summer with my uncle in California.  Ah, well, there's always next year.

We started paper mache-ing our surf gnome in art today.  My hand looked like I stuck it up someone's nose.  Mmmm.

I still can't find anywhere to buy The Academy Is... tickets at.
